The picturesque valley, characterised by green meadows, snowy mountains, yurt, the herds of horses and yaks, famous cultural festivals. The valley was the homeland of outstanding Kyrgyz leader Kurmanjan Datka. The valley’s plateau is located on the altitude of 3000m, located among the mountain ranges of Alay and Chon-Alay. The route connecting Kyrgyzstan with Tajikistan and China leads through the valley and Irkeshtam border pass encloses the valley from the East.
