Lake Kel Suu is an alpine lake in At-Bashi District of Naryn Province of southeastern Kyrgyzstan, very near the Chinese border. It is in a very remote part of the country and can be reached by 4 wheel drive off-road vehicles, trekking or horse only. It lies at an altitude of 3500m and is fed by the Kurumduk River of which the flow has been blocked by rubble from an earthquake. The outflow obstruction has created the lake which is only present if enough snow has fallen during the winter. Therefore the lake is sometimes dry.
